General Information, Terms and Conditions
Tour Organizer: This tour is organized and is an exclusive presentation of WGUC 90.9 FM and WVXU 91.7 FM, 1223 Central Parkway Cincinnati, OH 45214
Tour Cost: Barge cruise only $2,895 (single add $1,295), with air from Cincinnati (CVG) to Paris (CDG) $3,695. Total post-tour cost including guides, hotels, transportation and food is $695 (single add $345.) Please see basic tour registration for all other costs. A deposit of $500 is required with your application. Final payment is due March 10, 2008. Tour cost is based upon current exchange rate and subject to change due to foreign currency fluctuation.
Documents: A valid passport is required.
Cost of Tour Includes: Round trip air transportation from Cincinnati to Paris and back to Cincinnati. All land arrangements including all meals and admission fees as per the itinerary.
Cost of Tour Does Not include: Passports, all items of al personal nature, independent sightseeing, insurance, meals other than specified, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages with dinner or at any other time not mentioned as included. Some tips and gratuities.
Accommodations: Provided in 4-star equivalent barge on the basis of two persons sharing a two-bedded room with private bath.
Porterage: Porterage of one suitcase per person is provided.
Cancellation: 71 days or more - $200 (non-refundable administrative fee), 70-61 days - 50% of price, 60-46 days - 75% of price, 45 days or fewer - 100% of price/no refund. Any changes to reservations - $150 per person
Insurance: Travel accident, baggage and trip cancellation insurance is available from independent insurers and is highly recommended, Pre-existing medical conditions are waived if the participant purchases trip cancellation insurance within seven days after the initial deposit (sent with the reservation form) is submitted. If you anticipate joining this tour and want this insurance, call Len Sternberg before you submit your reservation form and request that an insurance application is sent to you.
Meals: Meals as noted are included in your program.
Physical Requirements: If you choose to take the optional bike tours on some of your cruising days, you will need to be able to cycle about 25 miles on moderately hilly terrain. We refer you to Terms & Conditions, under the heading of Physical Requirements.
World Heritage Sites: An asterisk in the text indicates that this location has been named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). International experts as places that should be preserved for generations to come have chosen these sites.
Itinerary: We reserve the right to make appropriate alterations in this itinerary, should inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Although some activities may be moved to different times of day or days of the week, we expect the itinerary to remain essentially as it appears here.
