Thursday, June 12
The Corbett Auditorium at CCM
Tickets available through the Cincinnati Arts Association

The name Oscar Treadwell continues to conjure up vivid memories for Cincinnati music lovers… that mellow voice, his unending knowledge of the music and musicians, the beautiful poetry. OT was a true legend and 91.7 WVXU is keeping his beloved jazz alive with the continuation of his show on Sunday evenings and with the 2nd Annual Sweet Love: A Tribute to OT Concert. This year’s concert will be on June 12 at the Corbett Auditorium at CCM.

Due to illness, Fred Hersch will be unable to headline Thursday’s Sweet Love: A Tribute to OT concert at CCM’s Corbett Auditorium… however, acclaimed local jazz performer Steve Schmidt will join Fred’s sidemen Joe Martin and Nasheet Waits for a great night of music benefiting CCM’s Jazz Studies Department and jazz on WVXU. Tickets will be available at the door or call 513-621-ARTS or visit www.cincinnatiarts.org.

Tickets for Sweet Love: A Tribute to OT Concert are on sale now through the Cincinnati Arts Association: 513-621-ARTS, www.cincinnatiarts.org, and the Aronoff Center ticket offices. General admission tickets are $30 each.
