By Ann Thompson

Venture capital investors are looking to fund Cincinnati's best and brightest ideas. Cincinnati Innovates is a regional competition open to anyone with a great idea. Elizabeth Edwards with Nyer Holdings says it can be a product, a business, or a business process with a Greater Cincinnati connection. Edwards says people can apply on-line, and submit pictures or videos with their entry. The deadline is September 1st, with a top prize of 20-thousand dollars. There is a kick-off party planned for Wednesday at 4:30 at the Taft Center on Fountain Square.
