Parking Plan announced for Horseshoe Casino

Horseshoe Casino customers will be able to park for free from six at night to six in the morning when the casino opens March 5th. 

In a release, the casino says you can also park for free on weekends.  Weekday parking will be free for guests who play slots or table games for 30 minutes or an hour of poker or spend at least $25 in a restaurant or gift shop.  Otherwise hourly rates will cost from a dollar for the first hour to a daily maximum of 14 dollars.  Hotel shuttles will also be available.

Anti-NRA ad tries to nudge Portman

A liberal group, Moveon.org, is running a cable TV ad in Ohio critical of the National Rifle Association (NRA) - one that is clearly aimed at putting pressure on Ohio's junior senator, Republican Rob Portman, according to the Huffington Post.  

The ad features an Ohio resident, Jerry Thompson  - a gun owner and Moveon.org member - saying that after the NRA's "disgusting response" to the the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings, "I've had enough."
