BB King Blues special!

This past summer, I produced a one-hour special featuring the music of blues legend B.B. King who passed away on May 14th, 2015.  I had planned on airing the special in mid-September in honor of his 90th birthday on September 16th, 2015, but due to the King Records specials which aired throughout September, the B.B. King special was postponed.  So, this coming Saturday night, October 10th, at 11pm on WVXU/WMUB, it's a tribute to B.B.King!

You'll hear music he recorded between the years 1963 to 2008.  Some of the songs include "Riding with the King" which he recorded with Eric Clapton, another song in honor of his guitar Lucille, and his classic, "The Thrill is Gone."

If you'd like to learn more about his legendary blues musician, you might try some of the links below:

Film: The Life of Riley narrated by Morgan Freeman and stars Eric Clapton, Bono, Ringo Starr and Carlos Santana.
