On Tuesday May 8, voters in Ohio and Indiana head to the polls to vote on a host of issues and candidates to represent their state. Here's everything you need to know before heading to the polls.

This November, Ohio voters will elect a new governor to replace current Republican Governor John Kasich, who is term limited. But before then, they need to decide who should represent their party on the ticket. Your choices are (in alphabetical order):

Indiana

Who/What Am I Voting For?

Indiana has a plethora of candidates on its primary district ballots -- 242 races and 837 candidates to be exact. But the big one is who will challenge U.S. Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly (who is running uncontested) in November. Republican options are (again, in alphabetical order):

Indiana residents also had until April 9, 2018 to register to vote in the May primary.
