The Cincinati Symphony performs as Lightborne projects images across Taft Theater during a dress rehearsal Thursday night.

The Cincinnati Symphony's fourth and final light and music show runs this weekend. "Lumenocity: Re-Imagine" is being held indoors this year because of construction at Music Hall.Spokeswoman Meghan Berneking calls the event an immersive experience.

"Instead of just having the facade of Music Hall to project onto, the architecture of the Taft will really provide a great canvas to go along with the great music," she says.

Rather than projecting image mapping onto Music Hall, this year Lightborne has designed visuals to project onto a screen behind the orchestra as well as on the proscenium and box seats flanking the stage.

There are ten performances of the 45 minute show at the Taft Theatre.

A block party will be set up outside on Fifth St.

WVXU sister station WGUC is airing the first performance live Friday evening. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8:05 p.m..
