Entrepreneur is a hallowed word in the American lexicon. But what's interesting is that the rate at which individual entrepreneurs are starting businesses is growing fastest in the regions of Sub Saharan Africa and Latin America.

On this edition of America Abroad, Babson College Professor Candida Brush tells us what explains these surprising findings in her work on the "Global Entrepreneurship Monitor." We also travel to Mexico and Nigeria to meet some of the people who have started successful businesses and we explore whether there is anything we can learn from those regions to strengthen our own entrepreneurial class.
