Impact Cincinnati for August 23, 2012

Aug 23, 2012

Lyme disease is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected black-legged deer ticks, and can cause fever, headache, fatigue, and infect joints and the nervous system. While reports of the disease are uncommon here, some experts believe that is because it is often misdiagnosed.

Join us Thursday morning August 23 at 9:20, as we take a look at Lyme disease. Impact Cincinnati, on 91-7, WVXU. If you have questions for our panel, you can email them to

Our guests on Impact Cincinnati this week are Dr. Kimberly Lentz of New Horizons Integrative Medicine, Local Lyme disease Advocate and Support Group Leader, Whitney Woodburn, and Professor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Judith Feinberg.
