Interfaith Business Builders Provides Co-Op Business Opportunites In Local Low Income Communities

Interfaith Business Builders is an organization of diverse Cincinnatians developing community-based, employee-owned and operated cooperative businesses (co-ops) in low income communities. In its thirty two years, IBB has developed four social enterprises, two of which today are employee-owned cooperatives. Joining us to discuss Interfaith Business Builders and its employee-owned cooperative business model are Executive Director Ray West; Board of Trustee Vice Chair Dr. Timothy  Kloppenborg, professor emeritus at Xavier University’s Williams College of Business; and, board of Trustee Member Bilal Muhammad, who is also a member of two Interfaith social enterprises, Cooperative Janitorial Servicesand Community Blend.
