A group of campers and artists want to make neighbors with the wildlife in one of Cincinnati's oldest parks. Two proposals would change part of the 90-acres inside Clifton's Burnet Woods.
The Camping and Education Foundation would like to construct a 2,500-square foot "living building" south of the lake. The Clifton Cultural Arts Centeris looking for a larger building, more in the range of 25,000- to 35,000-square feet, to be built inside the park. Cincinnati Parks leaders held acommunity conversation in May to gather input from the public on the two proposals.
Joining "Cincinnati Edition" to discuss the proposals for Burnet Woods are Cincinnati ParksDirector Wade Walcutt; and Cincinnati City Councilmember David Mann.
