MLB and the Reds unveil 2015 All-Star Logo

Aug 6, 2014

The Official Logo for the 86th Midsummer Classic is a nostalgic design with a pill box hat and handlebar mustache.  It also includes crossed bats representing a traditional baseball design and uses both red and black.

Reds President and CEO Bob Castellini said in a release “Today’s logo unveiling is the first of many exciting things that will happen throughout Reds Country, as we prepare for the honor of hosting Major League

Baseball’s All-Star Game in 2015.  The design chosen pays homage to the historical significance of Reds baseball.  It is a tribute to our fans who have loved this game for generations.”

Next year's All-Star game is the fifth time the Reds will host. Crosley Field was the setting for the 1938 and 1953 All-Star Games.  Riverfront Stadium hosted in 1970 and 1988.  This will be the first time for the game at Great American Ball Park.

The game will be played July 14, 2015.
