As the Trump presidency approaches its 100th day, NPR News presents A Nation Engaged, fostering conversation on the topic of Power & the Presidency with this framing question: “How powerful should any American president be?”
This one-hour special will highlight the key themes that emerge when four NPR Member stations pose this question to audiences with panel discussions and town-hall style events in four presidential libraries around the country, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum, the Harry S Truman Library and Museum, the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library, and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.
