Social Venture Partners - helping non-profits better tell their story

One of the keys to the success of any nonprofit organization is its ability to convey its message to a broad audience, from volunteers to national foundations and the media. Social Venture Partners Cincinnati (SVP) provides a program to help local nonprofits better-define their messages, sharpen their presentations and improve their story-telling skills. Eight finalists from this year?'s program are preparing to take part in SVP'?s Fast Pitch competition, where they could win grant and scholarship money. Here to tell us about Social Venture Partners and Fast Pitch are SVP Executive Director and Chief Engagement Officer Joan Kaup; the Chair of Fast Pitch, Melisse May; and Rick Wurth, CEO of Children's Home of Northern Kentucky. Rick won the "Good Story Told Well" Award during last year?'s Fast Pitch competition. Fast Pitch takes place at Memorial Hall on February 11, for more information click here.
