Elaine Diehl recently spoke by phone with Stephen Davis in Boston about his new unauthorized biography, "Gold Dust Woman: The Biography of Stevie Nicks." She's been a popular vocalist on the rock scene for decades since her early work with the band Fritz & Fleetwood Mac and her rocky relationship with Mick Fleetwood.
During their conversation, Mr. Davis tells the backstory of how this book came into being and his relationship with Mick Fleetwood. He says that he barely knows Stevie Nicks, but he doesn't need to once he begins compiling research about her life and those around her including limo drivers, roadies, and others. He also shares his five favorite Stevie Nicks songs which include "Sara" and "Dreams."
