Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton and wide receiver A.J. Green have a few days left to talk smack before leading the World's Largest Chicken Dance Sunday at 1:00 at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati.
You can hear them go back and forth in this video announcing them as grand marshals.
The Sam Adams Main Stage at Second and Elm Streets is the site for the Sunday dance.
America's largest Oktoberfest also looks to draw in soccer fans by offering free pretzel glasses to the first 5,000 FC Cincinnati fans through the gates at Nippert Stadium Saturday.
The celebration, Friday through Sunday on Second and Third Streets between Walnut and Elm in downtown Cincinnati, is expected to draw 650,000 people.
Before the weekend is over people will have consumed:
- 4 million fluid ounces of beer
- 87,500 metts
- 64,000 sauerkraut balls
- 24,500 potato pancakes
- 38,000 cream puffs
- 1,900 lbs German potato salad
World eating champion Joey "Jaws" Chestnut will eat dozens of brats this year. He broke the world brat eating record at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati in 2013 by downing 70 in 10 minutes. Chestnut will return to defend his title Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Braxton Fass Bar, Third and Walnut Streets.
New this year is an expanded Zinzinnati Craft Bier Garten featuring five regional Cincinnati breweries at Third and Walnut. Braxton Brewing Company has teamed with Greater's to create a new ice cream flavor. It will be unveiled Friday evening at 5 o'clock.
