Lee Hay’s “Blues” show on Saturday, July 23 presents a special tribute to the classic song The Train Kept A-Rollin' on the 60th anniversary of Tiny Bradshaw’s recording at Cincinnati’s King Records.
In addition to this special, there will be a celebration on Fountain Square on Monday, July 25 (the actual recording anniversary) that will feature the song’s original drummer, Philip Paul, and a “guitar army” parade from Fountain Square to a reception at the Historic Herzog Studio at 8th and Race. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring their guitar to perform The Train Kept A-Rollin’ during the parade.
