New CEO at Findlay Market

While it’s only been a couple of months since Joe Hansbauer took over as President & CEO of Cincinnati’s Findlay Market, he’s about to embark on one of the busiest times of the year for the open-air market: Easter. He took a few minutes to come by our studio and talk with Mark Perzel about why he wanted this job, his impressions so far, and what plans and goals he has for the future.

New book from The Bloggess

She’s known across the internet as The Bloggess, who claims (tongue-in-cheek?) “Like Mother Theresa, only better.” Her name is Jenny Lawson, and her blog is one of the most read, most hiliarious sites on the web, and she recently published a book titled Let's Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir.) Our Tana Weingartner talks with The Bloggess about how she got started, the reaction to her blog, and why she decided to do a book on top of all this other writing.

Documentaries are good because, for the most part, they take us places we’ve never been and/or introduce us to people that we may have known about via sound bites and news stories, but really didn’t know in person. Such is the case with the film Koch, a look at the life and career of Ed Koch, the feisty, in your face, three-term mayor of New York City during a very turbulent period.
