"The Ultimate Book of March Madness"

College basketball is in full swing, conference play has started around the country, so that means we are moving quickly towards March and the NCAA Tournament. If you are a rabid fan, and especially if you are a fan of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats, you are going to love a newly published book. Author Tom Hager is in The Front Row with Betsy Ross to talk about The Ultimate Book of March Madness, which ranks the 1963 University of Cincinnati vs. Loyola-Chicago championship game as the #1 game in tournament history.

Building a worldwide digital archive library



UC is helping to spearhead an effort to digitize rare library collections worldwide.


Archivist and historian Kevin Grace is just back from Vancouver where he spoke to representatives from 26 countries. More and more people want to access special collections without having to go to remote places to look at them.


Grace says lots of U.S. universities are putting rare photos and books online but many other countries lack the resources to put the necessary background information to go with them.
