Japan discharges water from damaged nuclear plant into Pacific Ocean

Japan is releasing water from the damaged Fukushima nuclear plant into the Pacific Ocean. The government says the water it is discharging has been treated to remove most of the radioactive material.

NPR’s Anthony Kuhn reports from Fukushima prefecture.
