The CSO Challenges Us To Look Around And See Our Neighbors

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra is launching its 125th anniversary season with a flash mob of performances. CSO Look Around is an immersive experience of music with more than 600 artists from 20 local ensembles performing in Cincinnati's Washington Park and Ziegler Park.

The two-and-half-hour event is conducted by former Associate Conductor Gene Chang and co-created by artists Shara Nova, Mark DeChiazza and Siri Imani (with an additional composition by Nathan Thatcher), along with the CSO. CSO Look Around is free and open to the public and begins Saturday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. in Washington Park and Ziegler Park in Over-the-Rhine.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the performance are Look Around Co-Creators Composer Shara Nova; and Director Mark DeChiazza.
