Iconic department stores like Macy’s are reportedly trying to find new and creative ways of competing in the digital, e-commerce age.

To better understand the ever-changing retail landscape, Cincinnati Edition speaks with Poonam Goyal, a senior U.S. retail industry analyst with Bloomberg. We take a look at the challenges facing big mall stores. Will they be able to use their existing real estate space in a digital age to attract new consumers? We had invited Macy's to participate in today's conversation, but the company delined.  A Macy's spokesperson said that they will be providing a retail update during their Investor Day on Wednesday, February 5th.

Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
