Cincinnati Sports Club Hosts “Manage Your Health” Series With TriHealth Throughout January, February and March CINCINNATI, OH – December 15, 2020 –. Cincinnati Sports Club will be kicking off the New Year by hosting the TriHealth “Manage Your Health” series, in order to help the local community learn more about the COVID-19 pandemic on personal health and develop simple strategies to improve the way that they live. The series is free and open to the community, and will take place throughout January, February and March. Safe social distancing guidelines will be followed, and class size is limited.. The topics of the four unique seminars, all led by TriHealth Health Professionals include: Counteracting Covid Fatigue, January 14th, 6:30pm-8:30pm COVID-19 has brought its own unique challenges and stressors. This seminar will focus on the long-term challenges of the pandemic, and how self-care, resiliency, and personal coping skills can help you manage your mentality for the better. A Discussion About Stress Eating, January 21st, 12:30pm-1:30pm Mindful or focused eating is eating in a positive, deliberate and controlled fashion. How many of us actually gulp our meals down without truly enjoying our food? Dr. Kathy Haugen, RD., LD, will lead a fun and enlightening presentation which illustrates how being mindful can change the way you think about eating. Covid Vaccine Q&A With Dr. Blatt, February 18th from 6pm-7pm Dr. Steve Blatt, TriHealth’s Director of Infectious Diseases, will lead this discussion about Covid and the recently-produced vaccine. He will answer questions about the pandemic, safety and vaccine effectiveness. Conflict Management Techniques, March 24th, 5:30pm-6:30pm Crossing paths with difficult people can be an unexpected challenge. This seminar will explore the root causes of conflict and teach communication strategies to diffuse negative situations, as well as the common traits of different people, what makes them difficult, and how to improve your interactions with them.
