The American Dream promises opportunity, class mobility, and prosperity. How are we doing on this promise?
We are told the answer lies in proposals for socialism, capitalism, and everything in between. The Beyond Civility project aims to understand these labels and their impact at an upcoming talk, "Pursuing the American Dream," on Sept. 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Mercantile Library.
Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the program are State Representative for the 31st District of the Ohio House of Representatives Brigid Kelly; Pantsuit Politics Co-Host and I Think You’re Wrong (But I’m Listening) Co-Author Beth Silvers; and MORTAR Development Director Derrick Braziel.
Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
