Graduated Licensing And Teen Drivers

That first time behind the wheel, an exciting moment for teen drivers, and a proud, yet terrifying, moment for parents.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 16-year-old drivers are five times more likely to get into an accident than 18-year-olds. But studies show graduated driver’s license laws dramatically reduce the number of teen driver crashes. 

Joining us to discuss teen driving and the value of graduated licensing programs are Jim Hanni, AAA Allied Group executive vice president of Public and Government Affairs; and Cheryl Parker, AAA Corporate Public Affairs manager.
