If convicted, a Colerain Township man faces up to six years in prison for a series of incidents at the Flying Pig Marathon and related events. The Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office has indicted 49 year old David Moore, a registered marathon participant on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and menacing by stalking.

Prosecutors say Moore called the Executive Director of the Flying Pig Marathon, Iris Simpson-Bush and had personal contact with her during the marathon events. The two were not acquainted before the event. Moore is accused of complaining about his bib number, asking about the relationship status of Simpson-Bush and making comments about terrorism.

During the events, he was stopped at the event stage by police who were concerned about his terrorism comments. He told officers he had a weapon and opened his coat to show a loaded 9 MM Bryco Arms handgun with a round in the chamber.

Prosecutor Joe Deters says he's glad nobody was hurt. "Thanks goes to the Cincinnati Police Department for their fast action in preventing what might have been a more serious incident."
