Coronavirus
As a new strain of coronavirus (COVID-19) swept through the world in 2020, preparedness plans, masking policies and more public policy changed just as quickly. WVXU has covered the pandemic's impact on the Tri-State from the very beginning, when on March 3, 2020, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine barred spectators from attending the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus over concerns about the virus, even though Ohio had yet to confirm a single case of COVID-19.

The Latest Update On Local COVID-19 Cases

The number of COVID-19 cases locally continues to increase, and that's expected to continue in the coming days.

The various states are updating websites with the number of confirmed cases at different times each day.

Here's the details by area:

Southwest Ohio (as of Sunday at 2 p.m.)

  • Hamilton County - 19
  • Butler County - 17
  • Clermont County - 5
  • Warren County - 3
  • Montgomery County - 5
  • Clinton County - 1

Northern Kentucky (as of Sunday at 9 a.m.)

  • Kenton County - 5

Southeast Indiana (as of Sunday at 10 a.m.)

  • Franklin County - 4
  • Wayne County - 1
  • Fayette County - 1
  • Ripley County - 1
