Meanwhile, the Cincinnati City Council asks for leniency for protestors arrested Downtown after curfew, and is also set to consider a budget with no layoffs or furloughs despite a massive deficit. Enquirer reporter Sharon Coolidge and WVXU reporter Jay Hanselman are with us for those stories.
And a newly approved regional transportation plan includes, again, the Brent Spence Bridge project, and for the first time, an extension of the Cincinnati streetcar into Newport. Enquirer reporter Hannah Sparling will join us to discuss that, and the upcoming gun show at the Sharonville Convention Center. "All of these riots that have been around, they have done nothing but energize our base," an organizer told her. "I can tell you, I'm not going to tell you numbers, but I can tell you that we've been doing online ticket sales for a while, probably two and a half years, and our ticket sales are above anything we've ever had for Sharonville right now."
