Singing economic praises for World Choir Games

Organizers are calling the economic impact of this summer's World Choir Games, "staggering."

The convention and visitor's bureau estimates the global and national publicity value at more than $49 million. Total attendance at events is estimated at around 208,000 people.

A budget breakdown sent out by the Cincinnati USA bureau reports organizers broke even on the event, bringing in nearly $10 million in revenue but expending the same amount.
