Ludlow Garage Turns 50: A Conversation

Jim Tarbell's Ludlow Garage was open from September 1969 to January 1971, just about 18 months. But in that time the music venue hosted some of the best bands in Cincinnati, along with some of the biggest names in rock, including Alice Cooper, Santana, The Kinks and the Allman Brothers.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the history and significance of the Ludlow Garage as it celebrates its 50th anniversary are former Cincinnati City Councilman and Ludlow Garage Founder, Jim Tarbell; long-time radio personality and Play it Forward Cincinnati Founder Gary Burbank; and graphic artist and owner of Mad Macs graphic design company Jeffrey Siereveld.

The Ludlow Garage 50th anniversary reunion concert takes place this Saturday, Aug. 17, from 12 to 9 p.m. at Seasongood Pavilion in Eden Park. The event is free.
