Ohio Rep. Warren Davidson Sees Nothing Impeachment-Worthy In Trump's Ukraine Call
Listen to Cincinnati Edition live at noon M-F. Audio for this segment will be uploaded after 4 p.m. ET.
Next week begins the first public hearings of the U.S. House's ongoing impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump. His alleged quid pro quo involving American military aid funds for Ukraine, and a demand for a political favor in the form of an investigation into Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, by that country's government, are what's at stake.
So far, Republican members of the House of Representatives are unified in their staunch opposition to the inquiry, and have been critical of how the process of gathering testimony has played out so far.
Among those Republicans is U.S. Rep. Warren Davidson, who represents Ohio's 8th Congressional District, which includes Butler and other counties surrounding Montgomery County and the city of Dayton.
Davidson joins Cincinnati Edition to explain his perspective on how the process has played out so far.
