2013 Cincy Psych Fest: Melting Boundaries

On Saturday, October 26th, minds will be expanded and doors to perception will be opened as Mayday in Northside hosts the 2nd Annual Cincy Psych Fest. Psych Fest is a celebration of music designed to engulf the listener in a gooey-sticky cluster of psychedelic imagination.

Inspired by The Austin Psych Fest Cincinnati Psych Fest pairs bands steeped in the sounds of 60's psychedelia, with those bent on breaking the rules of music.

This years' fest starts at 4pm on two stages, and features 14 bands, including local artists Brian Olive, Electric Citizen, Temple and Mark Zero and the Cave Managers.

In addition to the bands, Dr. Robert’s Ocular Odyssey [Ft. Wayne] will be providing a psychedelic light show and DJ Kyle Havens will be spinning psych music between sets.
