Lea DeLaria performs at the Ludlow Garage Saturday after the Cincinnati Pride Parade

"Orange Is The New Black" actress Lea DeLaria will perform comedy and jazz at the Ludlow Garage Saturday, June 24, after being the celebrity grand marshal for the Cincinnati Pride Parade.

DeLaria, who plays inmate Carrie "Boo Boo" Black on the popular Netflix series, was the first openly gay comic to appear on late-night TV  on the "Arsenio Hall Show" in 1993. Later that year she hosted Comedy Central's "Out There," the first all-gay standup comedy special. The Illinois native began singing jazz in clubs as a teenager before trying comedy.

Her credits include "Cars 3" (as Miss Fritter), ABC's "One Life To Live," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Will & Grace," "Friends," "Matlock," "The First Wives Club," "Drew Carey Show," "Homo Heights," "The Oblongs," "The Jim Gaffigan Show," and "Saved By The Bell: The New Class."

In 2015, she released her sixth music album, "House Of David delaria + bowie = jazz." She performs 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Ludlow Garage, 342 Ludlow Ave., Clifton. Tickets are $40-$75.

The Cincinnati Pride Paradestarts 11 a.m. Saturday at Seventh Street and Central Avenue, downtown.
