This week on The Blues, Saturday night, March 9th at 11pm, the show begins with a new Alligator release by Tommy Castro & the Painkillers, Killin' It Live. They're coming to Southgate House Revival on Tuesday, April 30th. The rest of the first set includes music from the Allman Brothers Band, Derek and the Dominos, andSonny Landreth.
The second set begins with a new one from Elvin Bishop's Big Fun Trio and continues with Whitney Shay from San Diego, Lake Street Dive (who will be at Fraze Pavilion June 15th), and ends with the legend, Otis Redding. The last set features Jimmy Scott, Miles Davis, Diana Krall, and Leonard Cohen.
