'American Pickers' hosts Frank Fitz (left) and Mike Wolfe.

American Pickers casting directors have been relentless in publicizing that hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz will be filming episodes of the History Channel series in Ohio in September.

So if you missed my Facebook post last month, or stories which have been popping up around Ohio since June, I'll repeat the details below.

On the show (9 p.m. Mondays, History Channel), Mike and Frank "pick" through "sizeable, unique collections" for  valuable antiques and forgotten relics.

American Pickers has visited Ohio seven times since 2010, according to Cleveland.com.

From casting associate Victoria Weinberg:

"Our show is heading back to Ohio this September and we're looking for leads throughout the region, specifically interesting characters with interesting items and lots of them!

I know we’ve reached out to you before, but we'd love to spread the word in your area. The way we find people and collections for our show is through spreading the word far and wide so that people know we’re coming to town, so we really hope you’re able to help us in letting people in your back yards know!…

"We are looking for different, unusual, and unique items too – something we’ve never seen before and with an interesting story! Feel free to share this with your listeners, with individuals, social media etc.

"Please make sure people who are interested reach out to us on our phone number 1-855-OLD-RUST (653-7878), or our email, which is AmericanPickers@cineflix.com. We also have Facebook: @GOTAPICK….

"Also, please note that Mike and Frank only pick private collections so NO stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public. … Thank you so much for your time and help!"

You're welcome!
