"And Still We Rise" quilt exhibit at the Freedom Center

The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is hosting And Still We Rise, the largest exhibition of African American quilts ever presented, which narrates 400 years of history in 85 quilts. Curator Carolyn Mazloomi, Ph.D., director of the Women of Color Quilter's Network, tells our Jane Durrell about the inspiration for this exhibition and how it will be turned into a book in 2014.
