With the election around the corner, political discourse has been widespread and often divisive. But since January, the Cincinnati nonprofit BeSpoken Live has been holding monthly storytelling events to encourage positive communication.
And the organization recently launched a web-based campaign, #BeKind2016, that collects stories of human kindness during a time of cultural divide. The goal of the project is to create an online space where people from all over the world can share stories of hope, goodness, sacrifice and humanity.
Joining us from BeSpoken Live to discuss how these stories can be a positive influence and allow us to better understand one another are Executive Director Brad Wise; Vice President Harmony Hensley; and Producer Ryan Eten.
