This week on The Blues on Saturday night, October 24th at 11pm, the show starts off with "It's a Low Down Dirty Shame" by Sugar Ray and the title track "Luv in the Afternoon" by Jeannie and Jimmy Cheatham from 1990 Concord release. The rest of the first set features the Gene Harris Quartet and the great Al Green.
The second set begins with Little Milton and Joan Armatrading. She's selling out concerts all over the country while on tour. You'll also hear from Eric Bibb and Chris Thomas King. And finally, during the last set, there's music from Buddy Guy and Junior Wells recorded in 1981 in Paris. You'll also hear from Ruth Brown, Laura Nyro and Bobby McFerrin.
