Bruce Willis returns to Cincinnati Aug. 7 to shoot his second action film here in three years, and his second Ohio movie in six months.

After filming the bank heist "Marauders" movie in fall of 2015, Willis and former 2012 Miss USA and Miss Universe Olivia Culpo will star in "Reprisal," another bank robbery film.

Among the producers are Randall Emmett and George Furla, who did "Marauders" and Willis' "Acts of Violence" in Cleveland in March with Mike Epps ("The Hangover") and Sophia Bush ("Chicago PD"). Brian A. Millerwill direct "Reprisal."

Film Cincinnati Monday announced the film and its plot: "After his bank is violently and elaborately robbed, the assistant manager struggles to overcome his PTSD and continue taking care of his young diabetic daughter. With the police investigation going nowhere, he mounts his own investigation and tracks down the sociopathic criminal."

Miller, a Michigan native based in Los Angeles, directed Willis in "Vice" in 2015. He also directed "The Prince," "Officer Down" and "Caught in the Crossfire."

Culpo's credits include "The Other Woman" with Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton, and guest hosting  for E! and "Access Hollywood."  She has played the cello since second grade.

Emmett/Furla Oasis films also shot two films here in 2016, "Inconceivable" with Nicolas Cage, Gina Gershon, Nicky Whalen and WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie, and "The Life and Death of John Gotti" with John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Stacy Keach and Spencer Lofranco.  Also producing "Reprisal" are Stephen J. Eads and Mark Stewart.

"It's been fantastic filming in Cincinnati. The community, the locations are amazing to work with.  We love making movies here," said Emmett in the Film Cincinnati announcement. A year ago, at the "Inconceivable" press conference, Emmett said nearly the same thing, but also added, "Obviously, the (Ohio film tax) incentives help a lot."

"We are excited to welcome Emmett/Furla Oasis films back to Cincinnati,” said Kristen Schlotman, executive director of Film Cincinnati, in the announcement. "Their familiarity with the city as well as our excellent talent pool of extras and crew members keeps bringing them back to make more feature films."

In May Robert Redford, Casey Affleck, Danny Glover and Sissy Spacek completed filming "The Old Man and The Gun" at locations throughout Greater Cincinnati, Covington, and Dayton, Ohio.  Emilio Estevez filmed "The Public" at the downtown public library in February with Christian Slater, Alec Baldwin, Jenna Malone, Jeffrey Wright,  Che "Rhymefest" Smith and Gabrielle Union.
