We look at the news affecting Greater Cincinnati and the Tri-state.

While the City of Cincinnati struggles to reduce a $32 million deficit, it continues to carry millions of dollars in loans and unpaid debt.

Hamilton County has its own budget problems, facing a $29 million deficit due to cutbacks in state funding and the cost of special projects. The deal to transform the Metropolitan Sewer District reached by Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley and Hamilton County Commissioner Todd Portune now appears in jeopardy. And the county and the Cincinnati Bengals disagree on the location of a new music venue at The Banks.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss this week's top stories are WCPO digital reporter Paula Christian (@PaulaChristian_); Cincinnati Enquirer regional government reporter Scott Wartman (@ScottWartman); Cincinnati Business Courier staff reporter and columnist Chris Wetterich (@ChrisCinciBiz); and WVXU reporter Bill Rinehart (@billgrinehart).
