After the baseball stars of tomorrow leave the field, celebrities and baseball heroes will play softball at Great American Ball Park. The Cincinnati Reds and Major League Baseball are announcing who will play in the All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game, July 12, during All-Star Week.
The softball game is part of a double header with the 2015 Futures Game which feature up and coming minor league baseball players.
Rapper and actor Snoop Dogg, Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson, rapper Macklemore, and local celebrity Nick Lachey will also play for the celebrity squad. Joining them are Rob Riggle, Anthony Anderson, Miles Teller, Clarissa Thompson, and Justin Moore.
Already announced for the Legends team: former Reds Sean Casey, Paul O’Neill, Eric Davis and Aaron Boone, Hall of Famer Andre Dawson, MLB legend Fred Lynn, and Olympic Softball gold medalist Jennie Finch.
The All-Star Game itself is July 14.
