Children in Homelessness

More than 1.6 million children in America experience homelessness each year, and that number is on the rise. Growing up has its own challenges, imagine adding the worry of where you’ll sleep or how you’ll get to school each day. Executive Director of Faces without Places Ramin Mohajer, Lori Eifert, Project Homecoordinator with Covington Independent Public Schools and Jarrett Spisak, Brighton Center outreach coordinator discuss helping Greater Cincinnati’s homeless children.

Information for assistance available to children in the CPS district is available here. Homeless teens can find information here, or call the Lighthouse Youth Crisis Center  24-hour  hotline,  513-961-4080.
