CincinnatiCity Council is reviewing the budget Mayor John Cranley submitted earlier this month. It must be passed before July 1, the beginning of the 2015 fiscal year. While the proposed budget would spend about 5.6 percent less than it did in 2014, no employees would be laid off, and police and fire services would actually be increased. But not everyone is in favor of some of the mayor’s proposals.
