CW Adds 'Supergirl,' 'No Tomorrow,' 'Frequency'

CBS' "Supergirl"  joins "The Flash" and "DC Legends of Tomorrow" super heroes this fall on the CW, which today was the fourth and final TV network to announce its new season.

"Supergirl," starring Melissa Benoist,  returns to 8 p.m. Monday – where it premiered last fall on CBS-- on the CW network owned jointly by CBS and Warner Bros. 

The CW will add two new dramas, and hold four returning series for midseason.

DRAMAS: "No Tomorrow" stars Joshua Sasse ("Galavant") as a free spirit who takes his girlfriend (Tori Anderson) on constant adventures because he believes the world will end soon. "Frequency," a remake of a 2000 Dennis Quaid-JimCaviezel movie, stars Peyton List (from Disney Channel's "Jessie") as a small town police detective who talks to her father, who had died in 1996, on a ham radio.

GONERS: “America's Next Top Model,” "Beauty and the Beast" and "Containment."

MIDSEASON:  On the bench for 2017 are "Reign," "The Originals," "iZombie," "The 100" and "Riverdale," a live-action version of the Archie Comics characters: Archie, Betty, Jughead and Josie.

THE LINEUP (new series in bold)

MONDAY: 8, Supergirl; 9, Jane the Virgin.

TUESDAY: 8, The Flash; 9, No Tomorrow.

WEDNESDAY: 8, Arrow; 9, Frequency.

THURSDAY: 8, Legends of Tomorrow; 9, Supernatural.

FRIDAY: 8, The Vampire Diaries; 9, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
