Daily environmental factors, such as chemical exposure through food and products, play a role in a woman?'s likelihood of developing breast cancer. The University of Cincinnati Center for Environmental Genetics and the Breast Cancer Registry of Greater Cincinnati board are hosting an event, ?LookingUpstream for Better Breast Health,? to discuss environment and breast cancer.
Breast cancer survivors, their families and friends are all invited to hear about new research that aids in improving breast health.
Joining us for a preview of the event and to explain how environmental factors affect breast cancer are Deputy Director of the UCCenter for Environmental Genetics, Program Leader of the Cincinnati Cancer Center and UC Epidemiology Professor, Dr. Susan Pinney, and UC Epidemiology Clinical Research Coordinator, Victoria Straughn.
