  Frank Lenz was a young man who left his Pittsburgh home in 1892 intending to cycle around the world on what was then a new-fangled "pneumatic safety" bike, a prototype of the modern bicycle. But Lenz mysteriously disappeared in Turkey two years into his epic journey.
