We look at the news affecting Greater Cincinnati and the Tri-state.

Negotiations over a new soccer stadium for FC Cincinnati continue. The club reached an agreement with local arts associations over noise issues at Music Hall but has not yet struck a deal with the Cincinnati Ballet over a parking lot. And Cincinnati City Council approved a land swap deal with the team this week but put off a vote on a development plan and zoning change. That delay is holding up stadium construction.

Officials with the city of Dayton, Ohio say water customers no longer have to reduce water consumption, but many in Montgomery County are still affected by a water boil advisory. A leak in pipes under the Great Miami River caused a water outage for more than 400,000 people Wednesday night.

And the number and size of the new potholes that have appeared this week are obvious signs our streets and expressways are in bad shape. But sliding hillsides, crumbling roads and traffic congestion all point to the serious and ongoing problems that plague our infrastructure. How will we raise the funding to address it?
