Go Baby Go Cars Give Tots With Mobility Issues New Moves

May We Help
Volunteers retrofit these motorized toy cars with hand controls and headrests.

For the past five years volunteers with the Go Baby Go program have been adapting motorized toy cars to help toddlers with mobility challenges get moving. Now a husband and wife engineering team is working with Dayton Children's Hospital to modify these cars and make a difference for area children. Megan and Tim Reissman retro-fit the cars with push-button controls, headrests and more.

Here to discuss the Go Baby Go project are Megan and Tim Reissman, assistant professors of mechanical engineering at the University of Dayton; Matthew Elliot, occupational therapist at Cincinnati Children'sPerlman Center; and May We Helpsenior volunteer Ray Riley.
