The Homeless In Cincinnati And Changes Coming To Services For Them

Jun 1, 2015

In 2014, the unduplicated total number of people counted on the streets, in shelters and in transitional housing programs in Hamilton County was 7,810.

While a recent report shows the number of people who are on the streets or staying at emergency shelters has decreased locally, last year there were still nearly 8,000 individuals counted on the streets, in shelters and in transitional housing programs in Hamilton County.

Joining us to discuss the homeless situation, and recent changes in local shelters and programs, are Drop Inn Center Executive Director Arlene Nolan and Kevin Finn, president and CEO of Strategies to End Homelessness.
