How Over the Rhine is working to remain an inclusive and diverse community

 

 Over the Rhine, Cincinnati's largest historic neighborhood, has undergone dramatic changes over the last two decades. But while more professionals are moving in, and OTR is now home to several new businesses, upscale apartments and rehabbed condos, a large majority of its residents still live below the official poverty level. Joining us to discuss how OTR is trying to maintain its character as a welcoming and inclusive community is Mary Rivers, executive director of Over-the-Rhine Community Housing; Jai Washington, who works and lives in OTR; and Ryan Messer, chair of the Over the Rhine Community Council.
